Author Guidelines

JUMIE : Jurnal Mega Inovasi Ekonomi publishes research articles, case studies, conceptual papers, and review articles related to economics, business, management, accounting, entrepreneurship, and development studies.

The journal scope includes, but is not limited to:

This journal publishes articles that have not been previously published and are not under review by any other journal. Authors are responsible for the originality of their manuscripts and the accuracy of the data presented.

ARTICLE PREPARATION

A. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be prepared in a single-column format using Bookman Old Style font.
  • Language: Manuscripts may be written in either Bahasa Indonesia or English.
  • The maximum length is 12 pages, including tables, figures, and references.
  • Each article will undergo a peer-review process by at least one reviewer and an editor.
  • The final decision regarding acceptance is based on the review results and the Editorial Board's decision.

B. ARTICLE STRUCTURE

1. TITLE

The title should be concise, clear, informative, and reflect the content of the research. The first letter of each word should be capitalized and centered.

2. AUTHOR NAME(S) AND AFFILIATION(S)

Write the author's name(s) without academic titles.

Example:

First Author¹, Second Author²

¹Management Study Program, ABC University

²Accounting Study Program, XYZ University

3. ABSTRACT

The abstract must be written in both Bahasa Indonesia and English with a maximum length of 250 words.

The abstract should contain:

  • Brief background
  • Research objectives
  • Research methods
  • Main findings
  • Conclusion

4. KEYWORDS

A maximum of five keywords should be arranged alphabetically and provided in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Font size: 11 pt

5. INTRODUCTION

This section should explain:

  • Research background
  • Research problems
  • State of the art
  • Research gap
  • Research objectives

Authors are encouraged to use primary and up-to-date references from the last 10 years.

Font size: 11 pt

6. RESEARCH METHOD

This section should include:

  • Research design
  • Research location and period
  • Population and sample
  • Data collection techniques
  • Research variables
  • Data analysis techniques

The methods should be described in sufficient detail to allow replication by other researchers.

7. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Results and discussion should not be separated.

This section should include:

  • Presentation of research findings
  • Interpretation of findings
  • Comparison with previous studies
  • Theoretical and practical implications

Results may be presented in the form of tables, graphs, figures, or narrative descriptions.

8. CONCLUSION

The conclusion should answer the research objectives clearly, concisely, and comprehensively.

Recommendations for future research may also be included.

9. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS (Optional)

This section is intended for institutions, funding agencies, or individuals who contributed to the research.

Font size: 11 pt

10. REFERENCES

The reference list should include only sources cited in the manuscript.

Requirements:

  • Use APA Style (7th Edition).
  • Authors are encouraged to use Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
  • At least 80% of references should be sourced from scholarly journals.
  • At least 70% of references should be published within the last 10 years.
  • Personal blogs and academically unreliable sources are not recommended.

11. TABLES

  • Tables must be numbered consecutively.
  • Table titles should be placed above the table.
  • Tables must be editable and not submitted as images.
  • All abbreviations should be explained in table footnotes.

12. FIGURES

  • Figures must be numbered consecutively.
  • Figure captions should be placed below the figure.
  • Figures must have good resolution.
  • All symbols and abbreviations must be explained.

PUBLICATION ETHICS

JUMIE applies the following principles:

  • Originality of scholarly work.
  • Free from plagiarism (maximum similarity index of 25%).
  • Transparency of research data.
  • Absence of conflicts of interest that may affect the publication process.
  • Compliance with research ethics and scientific publication standards.

Articles proven to contain plagiarism, data fabrication, or violations of publication ethics will be rejected or retracted.
