Submissions

Author Guidelines

Mega Agroakuatika Journal publishes research articles and review papers in the fields of fisheries, agriculture, animal husbandry, and biological sciences. Submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been published previously and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Authors must ensure that all listed authors have made significant contributions to the research and have approved the final version of the manuscript. Authors' names and affiliations should be provided accurately and completely. The corresponding author is responsible for all communications during the editorial and publication process and must provide an active email address.

Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s online submission system.

Manuscript Preparation

General Requirements

• Manuscripts must be prepared in a single-column format using Bookman Old Style font.
• Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian.
• The maximum length of a manuscript is 25 pages, including tables, figures, and references.
• Each manuscript will be reviewed by at least one reviewer and the editorial board.
• The final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of a manuscript rests with the editorial board based on the review results.

Article Structure

Title

The title should be concise, informative, centered, and written with capital letters at the beginning of each major word. Font size: 14 pt.

Authors and Affiliations

Authors’ names and affiliations should be provided directly below the title. The corresponding author must provide a valid email address. Font size: 10 pt.

Abstract

The abstract must be written in both Indonesian and English and should not exceed 250 words. It should briefly describe the objectives, methods, main findings, and conclusions of the study. Font size: 10 pt.

Keywords

A maximum of five keywords or phrases should be provided in both Indonesian and English and arranged alphabetically. Font size: 10 pt.

Introduction

This section should present the research background, problem statement, objectives, and relevant recent literature. Font size: 11 pt.

Methods

The research methods should be described clearly and in sufficient detail to allow replication by other researchers. Previously published methods should be appropriately cited. Font size: 11 pt.

Results and Discussion

Results and discussion should be presented in a single integrated section. Findings should be clearly explained and supported by tables and figures where necessary. The discussion should highlight the significance of the results and compare them with previous studies. Font size: 11 pt.

Conclusion

The conclusion should be concise, clear, and directly related to the objectives of the study. Font size: 11 pt.

Acknowledgements (Optional)

This section may be used to acknowledge funding agencies or individuals who contributed to the research. Font size: 11 pt.

References

References should include only sources cited in the manuscript and must be arranged alphabetically according to the surname of the first author. References must follow APA Style and authors are encouraged to use Mendeley reference management software. References from personal blogs are not recommended. Font size: 11 pt.

Tables

Tables should be numbered consecutively and include clear titles. Tables must be editable and not inserted as images. All abbreviations and symbols should be explained in footnotes. Font size: 10 pt.

Figures

Each figure must have a concise and informative caption. All symbols and abbreviations used in figures should be clearly explained. Figure captions should use a font size of 10 pt.
